Is Bitget available in Poland? MiCA status and alternatives

Published · updated

Short answer

Poland is not on the Prohibited Countries list in Bitget’s Terms of Use (last updated 20 October 2026), but “not on the list” is not the same as “authorised”. On 2 July 2026 Bitget said Bitget EU had applied to Austria’s FMA, and the outcome remains subject to the FMA’s assessment. On 30 October 2026 a search for “bitget” in the ESMA interim register file returned no rows. That is why this page has no Bitget button. Checked 30 October 2026.

Is Poland on Bitget’s Prohibited Countries list?

No. Bitget’s Terms of Use, “Last updated: October 20, 2026”, define Prohibited Countries as “the following countries and such other locations as designated by Bitget from time to time”. Among EEA countries the list names Austria, France and Germany; Poland is not named. The same wording allows Bitget to designate other locations later, so the list is not a statement that Bitget serves Poland. We quote the terms and make no legal ruling of our own.

Bitget and MiCAR: application filed, no register entry

On 2 July 2026 Bitget published that Bitget EU has submitted an application for authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider under the EU crypto-asset rules to the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA). Bitget states that “the timing, scope and outcome of the authorisation process remain subject to the FMA’s assessment.” An application is not an authorisation. Bitget has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry. On 30 October 2026 a search for “bitget” in the ESMA interim register file (CASPS.csv) returned no rows.

What we saw in a manual check

On 28 October 2026 a manual check showed Bitget’s sign-up page opening for Poland without a block message, unlike Germany and France where the page says the services are not available. This is a single observation. It is not an official Bitget statement about Poland and it does not change the register result above.

Why there is no Bitget button here

We show a sign-up link only where our evidence covers the country and the exchange is available there. For Poland we found no official Bitget page about new sign-ups and no authorisation in the ESMA register, so there is no button, no code and no bonus on this page. If Bitget receives an ESMA register entry, we will review the page.

Alternatives with an ESMA register row

The ESMA interim register has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28/05/2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27/01/2025). See our pages on Bybit in Poland and OKX in Poland, or the Poland overview. This is a register fact, not a recommendation.

FAQ

Is Bitget legal in Poland?

We make no legal ruling. Poland is not named in Bitget's Prohibited Countries list (Terms of Use updated 20 October 2026), Bitget said on 2 July 2026 that Bitget EU had applied to the FMA (outcome subject to the FMA's assessment), and on 30 October 2026 the ESMA interim register file had no Bitget row.

Is Poland on Bitget's restricted list?

Not in the list we read. The Terms of Use ("Last updated: October 20, 2026") name Austria, France and Germany among the EEA countries and add "such other locations as designated by Bitget from time to time". Poland is not named.

Does Bitget have a MiCAR authorisation?

Not by our check. Bitget said on 2 July 2026 that Bitget EU has applied to the FMA; the outcome remains subject to the FMA's assessment. On 30 October 2026 a search for "bitget" in the whole ESMA interim register file returned no rows.

Can I open a Bitget account in Poland?

By our check on 30 October 2026 we did not find an official Bitget page about new sign-ups from Poland, so we make no claim and show no sign-up link. In a manual check on 28 October 2026 Bitget's sign-up page opened for Poland without a block message; that is one observation, not a statement of availability.

What are the alternatives?

The ESMA interim register has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28/05/2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27/01/2025). This is a register fact, not a recommendation.
