Bybit in Poland: Bybit EU GmbH, FMA authorisation and code
For a Polish resident the first question about Bybit is which Bybit entity and which licence apply. This page answers it from primary sources only; anything we could not confirm is listed at the end.
Quick answer
The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) authorised Bybit EU GmbH, and ESMA’s interim register, which we read on 29 October 2026, lists Poland among its host states. The facts table below the article states the licence, the regulator, the decision date and the covered services, each with its source and the date we last checked it. The entity named in that decision is the one Polish residents should be looking for. Your nationality is checked separately by Bybit EU, so confirm it on the Bybit EU site before you register.
We rank and describe exchanges for each country on the Bybit overview page and on the Poland country page. This guide is narrower: it covers only what is confirmed about Bybit for a user in Poland, and what you should check yourself.
Who is the licensed entity
The regulator’s page names a single company, Bybit EU GmbH, as the holder of the authorisation. That matters because large exchanges often operate several legal entities under one brand. A licence held by one entity says nothing about another entity that uses the same name, the same logo or a similar domain. When you register, make sure the terms and conditions you accept name the entity from the regulator’s page.
The FMA granted the authorisation by decision on 28 May 2025.
What the authorisation covers
The FMA lists the services the authorisation covers: custody and administration of crypto-assets for clients, exchange of crypto-assets for funds, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, placing of crypto-assets, and transfer services for crypto-assets on behalf of clients.
A licence describes regulated services, not product features, so look at the live site for the products offered to Polish retail users before you register.
How to check the licence yourself
You do not need to take this page’s word for any of it. A short check takes a few minutes:
- Open the regulator’s page linked in the facts table and confirm the company name, the decision date and the services.
- Compare that company name with the legal entity shown in the footer and in the terms of the exchange site you are about to use.
- Confirm that the domain in your browser’s address bar is the one the exchange itself publishes. Look-alike domains are a common way to collect passwords and identity documents.
- Open ESMA’s interim register of crypto-asset service providers, find Bybit EU GmbH and confirm that PL is among the host states.
- Re-check the regulator’s page from time to time, because authorisations can be extended, restricted or withdrawn.
If any of these steps does not match, stop and do not upload identity documents.
Spot trading fees
The Bybit EU Trading Fee Structure, updated on 5 October 2026 and checked on 16 October 2026, states that its unified fee structure applies from 5 October 2026 at 11:00 UTC. Its first VIP 0 row lists an asset balance of at least EUR 0, 30-day spot trading volume below EUR 10,000 and a trading fee of 0.25%.
This is not a single rate for every VIP 0 account: the table contains other volume thresholds and rates. The article directs users to My Fee Rate after KYC. We did not check a Polish account’s rate, the treatment of an individual order or an execution fee, and do not restate higher-tier rates here.
Identity verification
Bybit EU’s help article on individual identity verification says that, as part of its compliance with the regulatory environment in the European Economic Area, all EEA users must complete Standard Verification to access its products and services. Advanced Verification is optional and allows higher fiat deposit limits.
For Standard Verification the article lists three ways to prove your identity: Quick Verification, Bank Verification and Video Verification. Bank Verification requires you to submit a fiat deposit before it can be completed. You prepare a valid identity document and take photos of its front and back.
We read the article on 16 October 2026; the page shows a last update of 25 March 2026. We did not confirm which documents are accepted for Polish residents or how long a review takes, so we make no claim about either. Follow the steps shown in your own account.
Funding the account: fiat deposits
Bybit EU’s Fiat Deposit FAQ says identity verification is required for fiat deposits, and that business verification is not supported at the moment. It also says Bybit EU GmbH charges zero exchange deposit fees for fiat deposits, while external payment service providers may apply their own processing fees depending on the currency and payment method.
For bank card payments the FAQ lists Poland among the supported countries and regions for Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay. It names BLIK only as an example of an electronic wallet method. Its table of payment methods that are unsupported in certain regions lists BLIK for Germany and the Netherlands, and Poland does not appear in that table. That is not a statement that BLIK is available to every Polish user: the FAQ says the available methods depend on your country of residence and on provider availability, and that the supported currencies and methods are shown on the fiat deposit page inside your account.
We read the FAQ on 16 October 2026; the page shows a last update of 3 September 2026. Two other Bybit EU articles, read on 16 October 2026, do list Polish zloty. The Fiat Deposit article (updated 15 July 2026) has a table row of PLN with the method BLIK and a BLIK account as the required information. The One-Click Buy article (updated 14 July 2026) lists PLN with BLIK as applicable to EEA verified users. The Fiat Deposit article also warns that some currencies and methods can be restricted for regulatory reasons or maintenance.
Zero exchange deposit fees does not mean zero cost: the provider may charge its own fee, and we did not confirm a BLIK processing fee or your limits. We did not make a deposit. Open the fiat deposit page in your account to see the currencies, methods and fees offered to you before you transfer money.
How to sign up from Poland with code 75062
Bybit’s own help page states who the EU referral programme is open to: users onboarded to Bybit EU and residing in the EEA, except Malta. Poland is in the EEA and is not Malta, so a Polish resident falls inside the stated scope. The same page says that referral relationships are site-specific and that cross-site referrals are not supported. In practice, that means a code or link meant for a different Bybit site is not expected to work on Bybit EU.
When this page shows a sign-up button, it applies our code, 75062, on Bybit EU. We may receive a commission from Bybit if you register through our sign-up link; it does not change our ranking or this page’s facts. This page states no bonus amount and promises no reward; whatever applies is set by Bybit’s current terms. The Bybit overview and the Bybit referral code page explain the other Bybit sites.
Our rankings are independent of whether an exchange pays us. The order on the country page is calculated from the same data for every exchange, and a referral arrangement does not move an exchange up or down.
If the referral code did not apply (75062)
If you registered and the referral field stayed empty or showed a different value, go through these steps in order:
- Check which Bybit site you registered on. Referral relationships are site-specific, so a sign-up on a different Bybit site does not attach a code meant for Bybit EU.
- Check your country of residence on the account. The programme is described for EEA residents, except Malta.
- Check whether the account already has a registered code. Bybit EU publishes a help article on adding and checking a registered code (How to add and check a registered affiliate code); the conditions and time limits there apply, and this page does not restate them.
- Contact Bybit EU support, describe what you did and when, and include the sign-up date and the email address of the account. Do not send passwords or full identity documents in the first message.
We cannot change a referral relationship on your behalf, and we do not have access to your account.
Where Bybit is not available
Bybit EU publishes its own list of restricted countries, and it can differ from the list of other Bybit sites, including by nationality. That list changes, so read the Bybit EU one and not the global Bybit list. We do not copy it here, because a copied list goes stale. Check the official page before you register:
Compare your nationality, and whether you are stateless, with the Bybit EU list, because it is not enough to check where you live. Residence-based availability is a separate check that Bybit EU applies at sign-up. If you are on the list, or if the exchange tells you during sign-up that it cannot serve you, do not look for ways around the message. Choose another exchange that serves you openly. The country pages show which exchanges we have checked for each market.
What this page does not cover
We left out the following because we have no dated primary source for them yet:
- Fiat deposit limits in złoty and the provider fee for BLIK (the Bybit EU FAQ publishes limits in EUR-equivalent tables that we did not restate).
- Withdrawal fees, VIP tiers above VIP 0 and any account limits.
- Accepted documents and review times for Polish residents during identity verification.
- The details of how accounts on other Bybit sites move to Bybit EU.
- The product range available to retail users on Bybit EU.
- The tax rules for crypto income in Poland, which come from Polish law and not from the exchange.
Each of these will be added when we can attach an official source and a check date to it. Until then, read the relevant Bybit EU page or the legal text yourself before you rely on any of it, and treat anything you read elsewhere without a source as unconfirmed.
How we keep this page up to date
Every statement in the facts table has a source and a check date. See How we verify for the method.
This guide is general information, not financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto-assets are volatile, and you can lose the money you put in. Only use money you can afford to lose.

If the code doesn't work
- A referral code applies when you register. Whether it can be added to an account that already exists is set by Bybit's own rules.
- Use the code for your platform: Bybit EU —
75062; Bybit Kazakhstan —75062. - Follow Bybit's own country and identity-verification rules when you register.
- To see whether the code was applied, look for it in your referral or rewards section after you register.
FAQ
Is Bybit authorised to serve users in Poland?
The FMA authorised Bybit EU GmbH on 28 May 2025, and the ESMA register we read on 29 October 2026 lists Poland among its host states. The FMA page itself does not name countries, so the host-state fact comes from ESMA. Check your nationality on the Bybit EU site and re-check the registers before you register, because authorisations can change.
Which Bybit entity should a Polish resident look for?
The entity named in the FMA decision is Bybit EU GmbH. Check that the terms you accept during registration name this entity.
Does the referral code work for everyone?
The Bybit EU programme covers EEA residents except Malta, and referral relationships are site-specific, so a code from another Bybit site is not expected to attach on Bybit EU. When this page shows a sign-up button, its link applies code 75062 on Bybit EU. This page states no bonus amount.
What are the Bybit EU spot trading fees?
The first VIP 0 row lists 0.25% with asset balance at least EUR 0 and 30-day spot volume below EUR 10,000. Other volume thresholds have different rates; this is not a universal VIP 0 fee. The article directs users to My Fee Rate after KYC. Checked on 16 October 2026; no individual account rate was tested.
Do I have to verify my identity on Bybit EU?
Bybit EU states that all EEA users must complete Standard Verification to access its products and services. Advanced Verification is optional and allows higher fiat deposit limits. The article we read was last updated on 25 March 2026 and checked on 16 October 2026; requirements can change, so follow the steps shown in your account.
How can I fund a Bybit EU account from Poland?
Bybit EU lists Poland among the regions where Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay card payments are supported, and says fiat deposits need identity verification and carry no Bybit EU GmbH deposit fee (payment providers may charge their own). Two other Bybit EU articles list PLN with BLIK, in the Fiat Deposit table and for One-Click Buy for EEA verified users; the methods you see still depend on your account, so check the fiat deposit page in your account. Read on 16 October 2026.
What are the withdrawal fees and other limits?
This page does not state withdrawal fees or limits, because we have not confirmed them against an official Bybit EU page. Read the withdrawal pages on the Bybit EU site before you fund an account.
What should I do if the referral code did not apply?
Start from the section below, "If the referral code did not apply". Rules for adding a code after sign-up differ between Bybit programmes, so read the current Bybit EU help article on adding and checking a registered code and contact Bybit EU support with your sign-up details.
Are there taxes on crypto in Poland?
We have not verified the Polish tax position against the statute, so this page does not state whether or how crypto income is taxed. Ask a Polish tax adviser or read the official legal text.
