Is OKX available in Poland? OKX Europe and referral code
Short answer: OKX Europe Limited holds a MiCA CASP authorisation from MFSA (Malta), covering users in the EEA. Poland is an EEA member state, and it is not on the OKX list of Restricted Locations as of 29 October 2026. This page lists only what we could confirm from official OKX pages; everything else is left out on purpose.
Is OKX available in Poland?
OKX publishes the regulatory status of its European entity and a separate list of restricted locations. Poland does not appear on that list as of our check. OKX also states that it serves all 30 EEA member states under one regulated entity. We did not find or confirm any country-level exception for Poland, and we do not claim that none exists. Check the official OKX pages in the table below before you register.
What the authorisation covers
OKX describes the services under this authorisation as spot trading, custody and exchange. The licence date and the entity name above come from OKX’s own regulatory page; we have not yet opened the regulator’s register directly, so treat OKX’s page as the source of record for this page.
PLN trading pairs
On 29 September 2026 OKX published an announcement that it is introducing three spot trading pairs quoted in Polish zloty: USDC/PLN, BTC/PLN and ETH/PLN. The listing time was 30 September 2026 at 05:00 UTC for USDC/PLN and at 07:00 UTC for BTC/PLN and ETH/PLN. The announcement describes itself as a general update and tells readers to check in the app whether the product is available in their region. We checked the announcement on 16 October 2026 and did not test the pairs in an account, so this page confirms the announcement only, not availability for any particular user.
Identity verification
OKX’s help article says that to use an individual account you need to complete advanced identity verification to meet Know Your Customer requirements. It describes an identity document and a selfie, and an address document only in some cases. For the EEA the article names a document no older than six months. The article was updated on 25 August 2026 and we read it on 16 October 2026.
We did not complete verification with a Polish document, so we make no claim about which documents are accepted, how long approval takes or what the outcome will be. Follow the steps in your own account.
Paying in zloty: ZEN.COM and BLIK
OKX publishes two separate help articles, and they describe two different things.
- PLN deposit via ZEN.COM. The article says PLN deposits through ZEN.COM are available to verified users residing in Poland. You need your own ZEN.COM account, and the names on the OKX and ZEN.COM accounts must match. It says the processing fee is displayed before you confirm the deposit and gives no fixed rate. Updated 9 October 2026.
- Buying crypto with BLIK. The article says this is available exclusively to Polish users who have completed account verification. It is a purchase of crypto for PLN, not a deposit of a PLN balance, so do not read it as a BLIK cash deposit. The processing fee is shown on the preview screen. Updated 13 August 2026.
We read both articles on 16 October 2026. The ZEN.COM article did not open when we addressed it directly; we read its full text through the link in OKX’s official help index. We did not run either flow, so availability, limits and the final fee for your account are unconfirmed. Older help text mentions converting PLN to EUR because of a missing PLN order book; we do not repeat it, because OKX announced PLN pairs on 29 September 2026.
Reading OKX’s Restricted Locations list
OKX publishes a list of Restricted Locations on its risk and compliance disclosure page, last updated on 8 July 2026. We read the list on 29 October 2026 and Poland is not on it. We word this carefully: Poland is not on the list. We do not write that OKX is fully available in Poland, because the absence of a country from a list is not a guarantee that every account, product or feature is available, and the page says the list is not exhaustive. Check the live page before you register, because OKX can change it at any time.
Before you register: a short checklist
- Confirm on OKX’s European site that the operating entity is OKX Europe Limited.
- Have an identity document ready, and a selfie.
- Use your own details and your own country. Do not enter a different country to match another programme.
What we have not confirmed
We do not currently publish claims about Polish tax treatment, which comes from Polish law and not from the exchange, or about personal fees and limits in an account. Each needs an official source with a check date. We would rather leave a topic out than guess.
Spot trading fees
OKX publishes a fee page for its European entity, and a notice dated 25 September 2026 explains that the spot fee schedule depends on whether you have opened a derivatives account. A maker order adds liquidity to the order book; a taker order removes it. Rates below apply to all pairs except stablecoin and zero-fee pairs, in EUR terms.
| Tier | Spot-only account (from 9 Oct 2026), maker / taker | Account with derivatives, maker / taker |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | 0.10% / 0.20% | 0.08% / 0.10% |
| VIP 1 | 0.09% / 0.18% | 0.0675% / 0.08% |
| VIP 9 | 0% / 0.04% | -0.005% / 0.015% |
Higher tiers depend on asset and trading-volume thresholds that OKX sets in the notice, and we do not restate them here. A user who has not opened a derivatives account should expect the left-hand column. The default table on the fee page showed the right-hand column on 14 October 2026, so do not read that table as the rate for a spot-only account.
The page also has a separate “Zero-fee pairs” tab under Spot. We did not read which pairs it covers, so we make no claim about them. We checked the fee page and the notice on 14 October 2026. Fee schedules change, and the table you see after you log in may differ from the default view, so read the live page before you trade.
How to register with our referral code
OKX runs its referral programme for European users under OKX Europe. Poland is not on OKX’s list of Restricted Locations, and our partner link opens OKX’s European sign-up page with our code applied (read on 29 October 2026). When this page shows a sign-up button, it opens that form with our code.
We may receive a commission from OKX if you register through the sign-up button on this page. It does not change our ranking or this page’s facts. This page states no bonus amount and promises no reward; whatever applies is set by OKX’s current terms, and the code gives no fee discount. If you open the form from the button, check that our code is shown as applied before you continue. See the OKX overview and the OKX referral code page for more.
If the referral code did not apply
If our code is not shown, stop and check that you are on OKX’s European site. Contact OKX support if the code still does not attach. Do not change your country or details in a form to match a different programme.
If OKX is not available to you
Availability depends on where you live and on OKX’s current terms, which can change. If the Restricted Locations list names your country, do not try to work around it; use the Poland country page to see other exchanges we track for that market.
How we checked this page
Every statement in the table below is tied to a source URL and the date we checked it. If a source changes, the page date and the check date change together.

- A referral code applies when you register. Whether it can be added to an account that already exists is set by OKX's own rules.
- Check whether your country is on the list where OKX restricts new users: OKX restricted countries.
- Follow OKX's own country and identity-verification rules when you register.
- To see whether the code was applied, look for it in your referral or rewards section after you register.

OKX names OKX Europe Limited as the authorised entity for the EEA. We did not confirm a Poland-specific entity separately.
What are the OKX Europe spot trading fees?
It depends on the account type. OKX states that clients with a spot-only account (no derivatives account) pay 0.10% maker and 0.20% taker at the Regular tier from 9 October 2026, while clients with a derivatives account pay 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker. OKX announced USDC/PLN, BTC/PLN and ETH/PLN spot pairs on 29 September 2026, with listings on 30 September 2026. OKX asks users to check availability for their region in the app, so we do not claim the pairs are open to every account.
Do I have to verify my identity on OKX?

OKX describes a PLN deposit through a ZEN.COM account for verified users residing in Poland, and a separate BLIK purchase flow for verified Polish users.
