What Bybit’s restricted list says

Bybit’s Help Center article on service-restricted countries, last updated 16 October 2026, lists restricted places such as the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Syria and several regions of Ukraine. Pakistan is not named. A list of this kind is not a licence: it only says where Bybit itself does not serve users. The list can change, so check the page before you rely on it.

PVARA licensing and NOCs: who is named

PVARA’s website states that all virtual asset service providers must obtain a formal licence before offering services in Pakistan. Its update of 12 December 2025 says PVARA granted no objection certificates to major global crypto exchanges including Binance and HTX.

We found no PVARA statement naming Bybit, and PVARA does not publish a full list of NOCs on its site. So we write “we found no PVARA statement naming Bybit”, not “Bybit has no NOC”. If PVARA names Bybit, we will update this page.

Banks and PKR: the SBP 2018 circular

State Bank of Pakistan BPRD Circular No. 03 of 6 April 2018 told banks and financial institutions to refrain from processing, using, trading, holding or transferring value in virtual currencies. It addressed banks, not individual users. We did not verify whether it is still in force after the Virtual Assets Act 2026, so we treat it as historical and state no current bank rule.

Why we show no Bybit button in Pakistan

Our editorial rule for Pakistan is to show an exchange link only where a regulator statement confirms a NOC. For Bybit we did not find one, so we show no button and no code. Do not give a false country or someone else’s identity to get around a restriction or a check.

Alternatives in Pakistan

PVARA names Binance for a NOC, which is a statement about Binance, not Bybit. See our guide Is Binance legal in Pakistan? and Is OKX available in Pakistan?. Our Bybit referral guide explains where the Bybit code works. For how we check facts, see How we verify.

What we could not verify

  • PKR payments and P2P. No official Bybit page we could read says either way.
  • Bybit Card. We found no official country list for the card.
  • Current force of the SBP circular.

The PVARA quotes and the Bybit restricted list were re-read on 31 October 2026. The Bybit fiat list was read on 20 October 2026; the SBP quote comes from our evidence file, and we could not re-read the SBP page. Re-check every quote on the source before you rely on it.
