Is Bybit available in Australia? Restricted list, Card

Published · updated

Is Bybit available in Australia? Short answer

Australia is not on Bybit’s restricted list (updated 16 October 2026), and Bybit publishes Australia-specific Bybit Card documents. We have not confirmed an AUSTRAC registration for Bybit; we did not search AUSTRAC’s register ourselves. There is no sign-up button on this page. We re-read the Bybit pages on 31 October 2026; AUSTRAC’s page did not open from our server, so its entry keeps the 20 October 2026 check.

Bybit’s restricted list and Australia

The list names, among others, the United States, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Crimea, parts of four Ukrainian regions, Sudan and Syria. Australia is not named. The list is open: Bybit says it may end services in any other jurisdiction at its sole discretion. Not being listed is therefore not a guarantee, and it does not mean every Bybit product is offered to Australians.

Bybit Card in Australia: what Bybit publishes

Bybit’s Help Center carries a Product Disclosure Statement (Australia), a Target Market Disclosure (Australia), a Financial Services Guide (Australia) and Cardholder Terms and Conditions (Australia). The Product Disclosure Statement page shows ‘Last updated on 2026-10-20’. A Bybit press release dated 8 March 2024 says the Bybit Card is now available in Australia, issued by Flywallet on the Mastercard network. The full PDS text did not load without JavaScript, so we name no issuer licence or ABN. A card product is a separate matter from the exchange service and does not show registration for it.

AUSTRAC and ASIC: what we could and could not verify

AUSTRAC says digital currency exchange providers must be registered with it. We did not search AUSTRAC’s register ourselves, so we have not confirmed Bybit or any Bybit legal entity on it. Some review sites state that Bybit is not registered or not licensed for derivatives. They link to no register entry, so we do not repeat those statements as fact. We also found no official page on the availability of Bybit derivatives to Australian retail clients, and we say neither “available” nor “not licensed”. AUSTRAC’s AML/CTF reforms may change the rules for these providers, and we have not checked that yet.

AUD: what Bybit’s pages say

Bybit’s list of restricted issuing countries for fiat service (last updated 3 October 2026) puts Australia in the SEPA (EUR) row and does not mention AUD. We have not verified AUD deposit methods and name no banks or payment rails.

How we handle the Bybit button in Australia

This page links to no Bybit sign-up and shows no code. We have no verified evidence for Bybit’s AUSTRAC status, derivatives or AUD methods, and we have not verified referral attribution for Australian sign-ups. We do not advise using a VPN or another country in a sign-up form.

See How we verify and our Bybit referral code page. The Australia check for Binance follows the same method.
