Is Bitget available in the Netherlands? No MiCA entry
No sign-up button for Netherlands: we show one only where we have verified the Bitget referral offer for that country.
Short answer
Partly. The Netherlands is not named in the Prohibited Countries list of Bitget’s Terms of Use (last updated 20 October 2026), and Bitget’s sign-up page opened from the Netherlands on our check of 28 October 2026, with no refusal and no redirect to a separate EU site. But Bitget has no row in the ESMA register of authorised crypto-asset service providers (MiCAR), so this page has no sign-up button. Checked 30 October 2026.

What Bitget’s Terms of Use say
Bitget’s Terms of Use, “Last updated: October 20, 2026”, define Prohibited Countries as “the following countries and such other locations as designated by Bitget from time to time”. The list includes Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore and others. The Netherlands is not named. We quote the terms and make no legal ruling of our own. Because Bitget may designate further locations, read the current terms on Bitget’s own site.
What we saw on the sign-up page
On 28 October 2026 we opened Bitget’s sign-up page from a Netherlands connection. It loaded without a refusal and did not send us to a separate EU site. The page shows no offer amount. This is one page check on one day, not a statement about what Bitget offers Dutch residents or whether it may do so.
Bitget and MiCAR: no register row
On 30 October 2026 a search for “bitget” in the ESMA interim register file (CASPS.csv) returned no rows. Bitget has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry. We found no official Dutch regulator statement about Bitget that we could cite, so we make no claim about AFM or DNB.
Why there is no sign-up button here
We show a sign-up link only where our evidence covers the country, the exchange is available there and we hold an approved offer. Bitget has no register entry and we hold no Bitget partner code, so there is no button, no code and no bonus on this page.
Alternatives with an ESMA register row
The ESMA interim register has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28/05/2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27/01/2025). See our pages for the Netherlands on Bybit and OKX. This is a register fact, not a recommendation.
What this means for a Dutch resident
A sign-up page that opens is not the same as an authorisation. In the European Economic Area, crypto-asset services are supervised under the MiCAR rules, and the ESMA register is the public list we check for authorised providers. Bitget does not appear in that list on the date we read it. We do not know from these sources what Bitget will offer, change or restrict for Dutch residents, and we do not predict it. If you are deciding where to trade, read Bitget’s current terms on its own site and check the register yourself, using the link under Sources.
How we check and when we update this page
We compare three things: the exchange’s own list of prohibited countries, a dated page check made from the country, and the ESMA register file. We record the date next to each fact. If Bitget adds the Netherlands to its list, shows a refusal on the sign-up page, or appears in the ESMA register, we review this page and change the status. The page checks are manual and repeated on a schedule that depends on how often the sources change, so a fact on this page can be out of date by the time you read it.
What this page does not cover
We did not check Bitget’s products, fees, deposit methods or limits for Dutch users, and we publish no bonus or reward amount, because the sign-up page shows none and we hold no Bitget partner code. We also make no claim about tax treatment or about the position of Dutch regulators, because we found no official statement we could cite.

Does Bitget have a MiCAR authorisation?
Not by our check. On 30 October 2026 a search for "bitget" in the ESMA interim register file (CASPS.csv) returned no rows.
Why is there no sign-up button on this page?

Yes. Bitget's terms define Prohibited Countries as the listed countries "and such other locations as designated by Bitget from time to time". Read the current terms on Bitget's own site before you act.
What are the alternatives with an ESMA register row?
The ESMA interim register has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28/05/2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27/01/2025). This is a register fact, not a recommendation.
