Is Binance available in Poland? EU authorisation status

Published · updated

Short answer

Poland is not on Binance’s List of Prohibited Countries (updated 5 January 2026), but Binance is not authorised under the EU’s crypto-asset rules: by our check of ESMA’s register it has no entry. On 24 June 2026 Binance said it had withdrawn its EU authorisation application in Greece and would seek authorisation in another EU country. Because of this we show no Binance sign-up button for Poland. Checked 30 October 2026.

Is Binance on its own restricted list for Poland?

No. Binance’s List of Prohibited Countries, updated 5 January 2026, names the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and a set of sanctioned places. Poland is not among them. That wording does not mean full availability: the list is only one of the facts that decide whether we show a sign-up link, and the EU authorisation status below is the other.

Binance and EU authorisation: what changed in 2026

EU rules require crypto-asset service providers to be authorised. ESMA publishes an interim register of those providers. By our check, a search for “binance” in all fields of the register read on 8 October 2026 returned no match. Binance has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry.

On 24 June 2026 Binance published that it had decided to withdraw its licence application with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), and that it was confident it would secure authorisation in another EU Member State in the coming months. We do not predict a date or an outcome. We also do not repeat dates or claims about registrations that we could not find in an official source.

What this means for a resident of Poland

Poland is an EU Member State, so the EU crypto-asset rules apply to services offered to people there. We do not give legal advice and we do not rule on what is allowed for you personally. We also do not cite a position of the Polish financial supervisor, because we have not found an official source we can read and date. What we can say is narrower: Binance has no entry in the ESMA register by our check, its own prohibited list does not name Poland, and we therefore keep the page free of sign-up buttons, codes and bonuses. If you already hold funds on any exchange, check the provider’s current terms and the official registers yourself before acting.

Why there is no sign-up button here

We show a sign-up link only where our evidence covers the country and the exchange is available there. For Poland the EU authorisation condition is not met for Binance, so there is no button, no code and no bonus on this page. Our neutral page on Binance referral codes explains how we treat codes in general.

Alternatives in the ESMA register

The ESMA interim register (read 8 October 2026) has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28 May 2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27 January 2025). See our pages on Bybit and OKX. This is a register fact, not a recommendation, and a register entry does not describe fees, products or fit for you.
