Is Binance available in France? The AMF delisted Binance France SAS on 2 July 2026 (October 2026)
Short answer
Not as a registered service provider. The AMF list of delisted DASPs shows BINANCE France SAS (AMF no. E2022-037) withdrawn on 2 July 2026, “Automatic caducity” at the end of the EU transition period. In the ESMA register read on 8 October 2026, Binance is not listed. That is why this page has no sign-up button.

The end of the EU transition period in France (1–2 July 2026)
On 5 February 2026 the AMF reminded providers that they had until 1 July 2026 to obtain an EU authorisation, and that providers without that authorisation must cease their activities. It also said holders must be able to transfer their assets to a provider authorised in France, or sell them. On 6 July 2026 the AMF said the transitional period under the Pacte law had ended on 2 July, that France had authorised 31 market participants and that 283 had been authorised in the European Union.

The AMF list of delisted DASPs (printed 10 July 2026) has a row for BINANCE France SAS, AMF no. E2022-037, registered on 4 May 2022 and withdrawn on 2 July 2026. The stated reason is “Automatic caducity” at the end of the EU transition period. We quote the AMF and make no legal ruling of our own.
Is Binance in the ESMA register?
In the ESMA interim register of crypto-asset service providers read on 8 October 2026, Binance is not listed. Binance has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry (status EU_RESTRICTED).
Is France on Binance’s prohibited list?
No. France is not named in Binance’s List of Prohibited Countries, “Updated - 5 January 2026”. That does not mean Binance is available in France: the AMF row and the ESMA register above are separate facts.
What Binance said to EU users
Binance’s blog of 24 June 2026 says it withdrew its licence application with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and will pursue authorisation in another EU Member State. It says some users may be impacted depending on their country and account status. France is not mentioned in the post, and by our check on 20 October 2026 we did not find an official Binance announcement specific to France.
Why there is no sign-up button
We show a sign-up link only where our evidence shows the exchange is available in the country. Binance has no authorisation in the ESMA register, so there is no button, no code and no bonus on this page. Registers change; check the current AMF and ESMA lists before you act. This page is not legal or financial advice.
Alternatives in the ESMA register
The ESMA interim register has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria; host states include FR, read 20 October 2026) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta; read 8 October 2026). See our pages on Bybit and OKX. This is a register fact, not a recommendation.
