Is KuCoin available in Nigeria? Restricted list and SEC
No sign-up button for Nigeria: we show one only where we have verified the KuCoin referral offer for that country.
Is KuCoin available in Nigeria? Short answer
Nigeria is not named on KuCoin’s Restricted Locations (Terms of Use updated 29 September 2026, read by us on 15 October 2026). KuCoin is not on the SEC Nigeria FinPort list (checked 20 October 2026). For that reason this page shows no KuCoin button and no code for Nigeria. A restricted list only says where KuCoin itself restricts use; it is not a statement that KuCoin serves Nigerian residents.

What KuCoin’s Terms of Use say
The Terms of Use say Restricted Locations “shall include the United States (including its territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, etc), Singapore, the mainland of China and Hong Kong, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ontario, and British Columbia of Canada, France, Netherlands, the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine”. Nigeria is not named. The list can change; if it does, we will update this guide.
Nigeria’s rules: SEC Nigeria, ISA 2025 and FinPort
The SEC Nigeria website says Nigeria has assented to the Investments and Securities Bill (ISB) 2025, which repeals the Investments and Securities Act No. 29 of 2007. The SEC FinPort page of registered fintech operators lists Busha and Quidax as digital assets exchanges and describes the list as all companies currently operating within the SEC’s fintech incubation ecosystem. KuCoin is not on it.
Not being on that list does not by itself say what is legal for you. It is a register of one regulator, and we do not give legal advice. We could not verify from an official KuCoin page whether KuCoin supports naira (NGN) or P2P in Nigeria, so we make no claim about it.
Why we show no KuCoin button in Nigeria
We show an exchange link only where we can confirm the exchange serves the country. For KuCoin in Nigeria we cannot, so we show no button and no code. Do not give a false country or someone else’s identity to get around a restriction or a check.
What we could not confirm
Three things stay open on this page. First, we could not verify from an official KuCoin page whether KuCoin accepts new account holders who live in Nigeria. Second, we could not verify naira (NGN) deposits or P2P trading for Nigeria. Third, we have not read the full text of the Investments and Securities Act 2025, so we draw no conclusion from it about any single exchange. Each of these would need an official source with a date before we would state it.
What to do next
Read KuCoin’s current Terms of Use yourself before you act, because the Restricted Locations list can change at any time. Check the SEC Nigeria FinPort page for the current register. If you only want to compare exchanges, our KuCoin hub explains how we evaluate it and shows the countries we have checked.

FAQ
Is KuCoin available in Nigeria?
We could not confirm it. Nigeria is not on KuCoin's Restricted Locations in the Terms of Use (updated 29 September 2026), but a restricted list is not a statement that KuCoin onboards Nigerian residents, so we show no KuCoin button for Nigeria.
Is KuCoin legal in Nigeria?
We make no legal ruling. KuCoin is not on the SEC Nigeria FinPort list of registered fintech operators as read on 20 October 2026. That list names Busha and Quidax as digital assets exchanges.
Is Nigeria on KuCoin's restricted list?
No. The Restricted Locations in the Terms of Use (updated 29 September 2026) name the United States and its territories, Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ontario, British Columbia, France, the Netherlands and parts of Ukraine. KuCoin can change the list at any time.
Does KuCoin support naira (NGN) or P2P in Nigeria?
We could not verify this from an official KuCoin page, so we make no claim about it.
Which exchanges are on the SEC Nigeria register?
The FinPort page lists Busha and Quidax as digital assets exchanges, and describes the list as all companies currently operating within the SEC's fintech incubation ecosystem.
