Is Binance available in Italy? EU status and alternatives
No sign-up button for Italy: we show one only where we have verified the Binance referral offer for that country.
Short answer
Italy’s EU crypto-asset transitional period ended on 1 July 2026, and CONSOB and the Bank of Italy said providers without authorisation “must cease their activities”. Binance has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry. By our check of the ESMA register on 8 October 2026, there is no entry for Binance. On 24 June 2026 Binance said it had withdrawn its application with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC). So we show no Binance sign-up button for Italy. EU-authorised alternatives are listed below. Checked 21 October 2026.

What changed in Italy on 1 July 2026
CONSOB published on 30 June 2026 that, as of 1 July, the transitional period under the European Regulation on markets in crypto-assets ends. Providers that have not obtained authorisation must cease their activities, limiting themselves to the activities necessary for the orderly closure of their relationships with clients. Providers authorised in other EU states and listed by ESMA may offer their services in all EU countries under the so-called European passport regime. CONSOB says it has authorised 8 providers to date.
Binance and EU authorisation
ESMA publishes an interim register of crypto-asset service providers. By our check, a search for “binance” in all fields of the register read on 8 October 2026 returned no match. Binance has no confirmed MiCA authorisation in the canonical registry.
On 24 June 2026 Binance published that it had decided to withdraw its EU authorisation application with the HCMC, and that it is in the process of contacting all of its EU users. By our check on 21 October 2026 we did not find an official Binance page announcing the end of services for users in Italy, and we do not publish dates taken only from media. We do not predict when or whether Binance will be authorised.
Is Italy on Binance’s restricted list?
No. Binance’s List of Prohibited Countries, updated 5 January 2026, names the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and a set of sanctioned places. Italy is not among them. That wording does not mean full availability: the list is one fact, and the EU authorisation status above is another.
Why there is no sign-up button here
We show a sign-up link only where our evidence covers the country and the exchange is available there. For Italy the EU authorisation condition is not met for Binance, so there is no button, no code and no bonus on this page. Our neutral page on Binance referral codes explains how we treat codes in general.
EU-authorised alternatives in Italy
The ESMA interim register (read 8 October 2026) has rows for Bybit EU GmbH (FMA, Austria, 28 May 2025) and OKX Europe Limited (MFSA, Malta, 27 January 2025). See our pages on Bybit and OKX. This is a register fact, not a recommendation, and a register entry does not describe fees, products or fit for you. CONSOB points to the ESMA register for checking who may serve Italy.
